Balia District
is famous varied specialties for long ago. Ancient books
and folk tales connect his (Ballia)
with the kind Bali great saint king Surat and the brave
Loric. As the confluence of Ganga and Yamuna is known
as prayagraj, Confluence of Ganga nad Varuna is famously
known by the name of Kashi area, likewise this central
part of the confluence of Ganga and Tamsa after the
completion of penance of Maharshi Bhirgu is famous by
the name “Bhrighukshetra” Bhrigusanghita was created
by Maharshi Bhrigu. Saints literature, Pt. Parashuram
Chaturvedi, Dr. Hajari Prasad Dwivedi, Padma
Shree awardees Pt. Raghunath Sharma,
famous mathematician Dr. Ganeshi Prasad,

Even now there is even many an areas in Balia District, even now there is scarcity of educational facilities. In Baansdeeh Tehsil, in korad area spread over from Saidpur to the bank of Ghagra in more than fifty villages, even now require facilities for education are not available. Students of korad area villages and those residing and on the bank of Ghagra river have to face natural calamities. Many are the areas where even today boat has to be taken as means of transport. Situation becomes still difficult in rainy season. In such state of affair R.N.C. Post Graduate College is a boon to the people of this area. Non existence of another college around 20 kms. Circumference of the college proofs that a big number of people of this area are deprived of education. Mainly for curse this college has proved to be a boon, R.N.C. Post Graduate College is situated at a distance of 25 KM. in the head quarters of the district in front of Baba Saidnath Temple on the Baansdih-maniyar road, adjacent to the East side of Ghogha chatty. |
